Tuesday is the deadline for the Bengals to decide whether to place rookie fifth-round pick AJ McCarron on the active 53-man roster or place him on season-ending Injured Reserve.
The team put McCarron on the Non-Football Injury list Aug. 30 and cleared him to begin practicing Nov. 18, a move that opened a three-week window in which they could evaluate him before making the decision due this afternoon.
