Tight end Jermaine Gresham and cornerback Terence Newman are among the inactives for the Bengals today at Cleveland.

Gresham showed up on the injury report with a toe issue Thursday and was listed as limited. He did not practice Friday. This will be the first game he’s missed since last year’s finale when he had a hamstring injury.

Newman (ankle) participated in practice every day this week, but he will miss his first game since Week 11 when he sat out the New Orleans game with a knee injury.

Adam Jones will get the start for Newman, while Kevin Brock will start for Gresham. It will be the second career start for Brock. He lined up as the second tight end for the first play in Tampa Bay and played 15 snaps.

The other inactives are quarterback AJ McCarron, wide receivers Dane Sanzenbacher and James Wright, tackle Tanner Hawkinson and defensive end Margus Hunt.
