Marvin Jones misses second consecutive practice

Wide receiver Marvin Jones missed his second consecutive practice with a hamstring injury. But unlike Monday when Jones watched the entire practice from the sideline, Tuesday he was doing work on the side rehab field.

Linebackers Vontaze Burfict, Sean Porter and Rey Maualuga and tackle Cedric Ogbuehi also were on the rehab field.

Wide receiver Onterrior McCalebb (knee) missed his second consecutive practice, while linebacker Marquis Flowers (undisclosed) also didn’t work.

Tackles Andrew Whitworth and Andre Smith sat out on their scheduled rest days.

Defensive tackle Wallace Gilberry (hamstring) returned in limited fashion after missing Monday. Tackle Dan France (undisclosed) also returned after missing Monday.
