Left guard Clint Boling is expected to start at right tackle today, with Mike Pollak getting the call at left guard.
Boling played right tackle for two series in the first half last week at Tampa Bay as Marshall Newhouse struggled, but the Bengals went back to Newhouse in the second half.
Newhouse made two starts against Cleveland and New Orleans while Andre Smith was out with an ankle injury. Smith returned to the lineup at Houston but suffered a season-ending triceps injury in the first quarter.
Newhouse did a solid job against J.J. Watt in the 22-13 win at Houston, but he struggled against the Buccaneers and suffered a hip injury that kept him out of Wednesday's practice, although he was a full participant Thursday and Friday.
Boling played guard and tackle in college at Georgia, but this will be his first career NFL start at tackle.
The seven players who are inactive for the Bengals today are linebackers Vontaze Burfict and Chris Carter, wide receivers James Wright and Dane Sanzenbacher, defensive end Margus Hunt, tackle Tanner Hawkinson and cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris.
That means newly signed tackle Eric Winston is active. He's likely an emergency policy, although it will be interesting to see who comes off the bench first, Winston or Newhouse, if Boling moves back to guard at some point or comes out for any other reason.
For the Steelers, linebacker James Harrison is one of the inactives, along with quarterback Landry Jones, tackle Macus Gilbert, cornerback B.W. Webb, wide receiver Justin Brown, DE Clifton Geathers and running back Dri Archer.
