The Bengals game against Cleveland on Dec. 14 will be broadcast by FOX rather than CBS, the league announced today.

This is the first season the league has been allowed to cross flex games between networks. In the past, and in most cases this season, games between two AFC opponents air on CBS affiliations, including WHIO-TV in Dayton.

The league moved the Detroit-Minnesota game from 1 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. on Dec. 14, leaving FOX short one game in the 1 p.m. time slot. So the Cincinnati-Cleveland game, which is expected to have AFC North title implications, was flexed to FOX.
