FARMERS MARKET GUIDE: Where to find local produce, goods across the Dayton region

It’s National Farmers Market Week, an exciting opportunity to support the Dayton region’s abundance of farmers markets.

Shopping local this summer is made easy in the Dayton area due to more than 20 farmers markets featuring locally grown produce, meats, baked goods and artisan items from neighborhood vendors.

“National Farmers Market week is really a celebration of locally grown food and the importance of small farmers and farmers markets for the planet, food access and regional economy,” said 2nd Street Market Manager Lynda Suda in a press release. “Our region has considerable challenges when it comes to equitable access to fresh, healthy food, but we have so many incredible organizations that are working towards solutions and we’re happy to be a part of it and share it with the community.”

Below is our guide to notable farmers markets. If you would like your farmers market to be added, send details to Natalie.Jones@coxinc.com.
