Scattered showers will move in by early overnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. A few snowflakes may mix in, mainly in the far northeastern Miami Valley. Temperatures will fall to the lower 30s by morning, Elwell said.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and blustery conditions are expected. Wind gusts more than 30 mph will be possible. Snow showers and flurries will develop, especially by late afternoon. Some snow showers may become briefly heavy, leading to a quick coating of snow. With the gusty winds, travelers Thursday evening should be on the lookout for rapidly changing road conditions and visibility. Snowfall accumulation through Thursday night should stay under 1 inch in most areas. Highs will only be in the upper 30s.
FRIDAY: Snow showers or flurries will be possible through the morning commute and gradually taper off through the afternoon. It will continue to be blustery and cold with highs only in the lower 30s.
SATURDAY: Some sun is expected early with clouds and showers developing in the afternoon. The rain may begin as snow showers. Highs will be near 40 degrees. it will remain windy at times.
SUNDAY: Skies will remain mostly cloudy with a chance for rain or snow showers. Highs will be in the upper 30s.
MONDAY: Rain showers are likely. It will be milder with highs in the upper 40s.
