HS Roundup 12/4: UC recruit nets 30 in Xenia win

Cincinnati Bearcats recruit Samari Curtis led the way for the Xenia boys basketball team in a 64-53 win versus Beavercreek on Tuesday.

Curtis poured in 30 points and Dylan Hoosier tacked on 17.

Isaiah Moore and Adam Duvall each had 12 for ‘Creek.

Boys Basketball

Carroll 44, Miamisburg 40, OT: Simon Jefferson scored 16 points to lead Carroll. Corey Hartman had 15 for ‘Burg.

Graham 69, Triad 47: Brevan King had 22 points and Chase Adams added 14 for Graham. Austin Bails led Triad with 11 points.

Greenon 52, Yellow Springs 28: Andrew Conover of Greenon scored 10 points. Andrew Clark tallied 14 points for Yellow Springs.

Indian Lake 59, West Liberty-Salem 53: Clay Jacobs paced Indian Lake for 17 points, Austin Parker tallied 15 and Brayden Allen 12. Holden Nease scored 20 points for West Liberty and Nick Burden added 19.

Miami Valley 51, Bradford 25: Alec Martin tallied 26 points to lead Miami Valley, which held Bradford to seven points in the second half.

Northridge 60, Monroe 54: Twon Hines poured in 35 points for Northridge and Darryl Story Jr added 12. Monroe’s Shawn Poindexter tallied 11 points, Nick Osterman added 11 and Nick Alfrey 10.

Springboro 72, Fairborn 55: Michael Berner paced Springboro with 21 points, Willaim Yates added 12, Connor Grevey added 11, Garett Powell scored 10. Shaun Monroe of Fairborn poured in 41 points, including five three-pointers, in a losing effort.

Sidney 67, Bellefontaine 52: Andre Gordon of Sidney scored 21 points and Ratez Roberts added 11. Jack Clement of Bellefontaine tallied 20 points.

Tippecanoe 65, Bethel 68: Nolan Mader poured in 25 points and Ben Sauls tacked on 14 for Tippecanoe. Evan James had 27 points for Bethel.

Coldwater 40, Kalida 38: Lauren Gilliland scored 13 points and gathered 16 boards and Kate Leichty tacked on 10 points.

Dayton Christian 51, East Dayton Christian 27: Camryn Collinsworth scored 10 of her 26 points in the first quarter to pace DC.

Legacy Christian 40, Franllin Monroe 31: Corina Conley paced FM with 14 points.

National Trail 38, Cambridge City 28: Evan Byrd netted 14 points for National Trail.

Boys Bowling

Carroll 2383, Purcell Marian 2049: Adam Hall rolled the high series of 384 to lead Carroll.

Springfield 2209, Lebanon 2046: Parker Beck paced Springfield with a 522 series and Gabe Taulbee led Lebanon with a 406.
