The quarterback carousel in Cleveland never disappoints.
DeShone Kizer, benched one game for Kevin Hogan, is likely to be named the starter again by Wednesday, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
“(Head coach Hue) Jackson re-iterated that Kizer is ‘huge part of the future here’ and that will be a big part of his thinking process. If the Browns are going to have a young quarterback out there struggling with a sub-par supporting cast, it might as well be their possible quarterback of the future.”
Jackson added that he thinks Kizer will protect the ball better and demand more from his teammates. Kizer’s 49.5 rating is worst in the NFL, as are his nine interceptions.
