Wayne girls basketball standout Olivia Trice has committed to Bowling Green.

The daughter of Warriors coach Travis Trice Sr. announced her decision Wednesday.

“A new chapter in my life,” she wrote on Twitter. “So blessed and excited to be a Bowling Green Falcon.”

The 5-foot-8 senior-to-be averaged 8.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists for the 15-10 Warriors last season.

She shot 31.5 percent from 3-point range.

The name “Trice” has become synonymous with basketball in the area thanks to Olivia, her father and older brothers.

Travis Trice Sr. just finished his first season coaching the Wayne girls after a successful 10-year run guiding the boys’ team that included a state championship.

Travis Trice Jr. was a standout at Michigan State while D’Mitrik Trice was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree at Wisconsin last season and Isaiah Trice averaged 13.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game last season at Sinclair.

Olivia Trice is the second member of her team to make her college choice.

Destiny Bohanon verbally committed to Dayton last year.
