Series history: This is the first meeting. Ohio State will be the ninth current Big Ten team Army has played in its history. Army is 43-50-1 against the Big Ten.

Last week: Ohio State lost 31-16 at home to Oklahoma. Army beat Buffalo 21-17 in West Point, N.Y.

Coaches: Ohio State's Urban Meyer is 62-7 in his sixth season. Jeff Monken is 16-23 in three seasons at Army.
