GGCL honors Lipps, Zettler of Badin tennis
HAMILTON — Badin High School’s Miranda Lipps and Anne Zettler have taken top honors in the Girls Greater Cincinnati League Grey Central Division tennis voting.
Lipps, a senior, has been named Player of the Year. She’s joined on the first team by three teammates: senior Jackie Turner, junior Rebecca Gonya and sophomore Emily Myers.
Earning spots on the second team for the Rams are seniors Mallory Gantenberg and Amanda Thompson, and junior Jill Turner.
Zettler is Coach of the Year.
Carley heads Rams’ volleyball honorees
HAMILTON — Senior Chrissy Carley is Badin High School’s only first-team selection for the Girls Greater Cincinnati League Grey Central Division volleyball squad.
Rams senior Mary Bange is on the second team. Earning honorable-mention status are seniors Carrie Lunsford and Megan Purves, and junior Susan Gillespie.
Roger Bacon’s Katlin Kallmeyer has been named Player of the Year. Lindsey Webb of Purcell Marian is Coach of the Year.
Badin has two HM runners in GGCL
HAMILTON — Senior Lauren Whitaker and junior Jessica Carroll of Badin High School have earned honorable-mention recognition on the Girls Greater Cincinnati League Grey Central Division cross country team.
Roger Bacon’s Emily Richmond (Runner of the Year) and McNicholas’ Dan Rosenbaum (Coach of the Year) collected top honors in the division.
