High School Football Week 6: Fairfield, New Miami move to 6-0

Jutahn McClain rumbled for 68 yards on a touchdown in the closing minutes as Fairfield edged Lakota East 20-14 to move to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the Greater Miami Conference.

McClain rushed for 221 yards and two scores.

Mark Krajewski had two TD runs for Lakota East.

New Miami 55, Cin. College Prep 32: Undefeated New Miami went on a 34-16 run in the second half to put the game out of reach. Trey Robinette had four rushing touchdowns and one TD pass to lead the way.

Mason 35, Hamilton 21: Keyshawn Stephens scored twice in the first quarter to help Hamilton move ahead early but Mason went on a 35-0 run to pull away.

Princeton 43, Middletown 21: Josh Bryant tallied 214 yards with two touchdown runs and Mason Dearth hit a pair of field goals in the loss for Middletown.

Fenwick 13, McNicholas 7: David Schuh rushed in for the lone Fenwick touchdown and Meghan Creech kicked a pair of field goals to help Fenwick open conference play with a win.

Franklin 38, Preble Shawnee 36: Preble Shawnee gave Franklin all they could handle, taking the lead with 5:17 to play, but Franklin booted the game-winning field goal late to pull out the win.

Harrison 42, Talawanda 7: Deondre Bothast-Revalee's 50-yard touchdown run was the lone bright spot for Talawanda. Bothast-Revalee finished with 15 carries for 103 yards.

Lakota West 35, Oak Hills 0: Mitch Bolden connected with Caleb Rao on a pair of long touchdown throws and David Afari and Aden Miller added TD runs for Lakota West.

Northridge 46, Carlisle 0: Darryl Story Jr. and Riley Holmes each had a pair of touchdown passes and Matt Moon hauled in a TD pass and scored on a punt return to lead Northridge.

Springboro 27, Northmont 21: Springboro surged ahead early then held off a late Northmont rally to remain unbeaten. Landon Palmer threw TD passes to Conner Heyser and Kaleel Trent and Timmy Keseday scored on a 23-yard run to help 'Boro build an early lead. Keaton Kesling threw three touchdowns, all in the second half, to lead the Northmont rally effort.

Trotwood 28, Lebanon 23: Sammy Anderson hauled in two TD passes from Keon'tae Huguely in the first quarter to help Trotwood open up an early lead. Huguely finished with 190 yards and three touchdowns. Lebanon pulled within six points with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter but the Trotwood defense held on for the win.

Eaton 27, Monroe 21: The Eagles edged the Hornets in SWBL play.
