Erick All is going to be trading shades of yellow next season.

The Fairfield graduate announced Wednesday he will wear the gold and black of Iowa next season after four seasons in Michigan’s maize and blue.

The 6-4, 245-pounder played 33 games for the Wolverines and caught 54 passes for 565 yards and two touchdowns. After being honorable mention All-Big Ten in 2021, he was voted a captain this year, but an undisclosed injury limited All to three games.

He was a four-star recruit who committed during the summer of his senior year. He had a long list of offers from Power 5 schools including Notre Dame and Florida State.

The Hawkeyes will be looking to replace 2022 Big Ten Tight End of the Year Sam LaPorta, who is out of eligibility and will join notable Iowa alumni George Kittle, T.J. Hockenson and Parker Hesse in the NFL.

They also have returning Luke Lachey, the son of former Ohio State and NFL standout Jim Lachey.

All and Lachey could both be catching passes from former Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara, who previously announced he will transfer to Iowa after losing the starting job to J.J. McCarthy early this season.
