It was the fifth 20-point game of the season and 15th of his career for Edwards, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound senior. The 2014 Middletown grad added five rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Edwards ranks second on the team in scoring (14.7 points per game), leads the team in rebounding (8.7) and ranks second in three-point shooting (45.2 percent) and free-throw shooting (83.8 percent).

These are heady days for Purdue, which has 11 wins by 25 points or more and is off to its best start since the 1987-88 season. That team started 24-2.
