The Philadelphia Eagles have signed kicker Jake Elliott off the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad, according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and a not-so-cryptic confirmation tweet from Elliott.

The Bengals drafted Elliott in the fifth-round out of Memphis, but he was erratic in the preseason, leading the team to stick with Randy Bullock.

Elliott was 4 of 7 on field goal attempts, with two of the misses coming in the final five minutes of the preseason finale against Indianapolis. Bullock was 6 of 7.

Philadelphia placed kicker Caleb Sturgis on Injured Reserve with a quad strain Monday.
