MUH volleyball undefeated in league play

The Miami University-Hamilton women’s volleyball team defeated Ohio State University-Lima in three straight sets last week, but lost its next match to the University of Cincinnati-Clermont in three straight. The Harriers currently sit atop the Ohio Regional Campus Conference at 3-0 and are 9-6 overall. Sophomore Amanda Hobbs (Edgewood) led the team in kills for the week and Senior Kady Eby (Ross) continued to lead the way in assists. Other members of the team include freshmen Amanda Bays (Talawanda), Lexi Kilgore (Kings) and Allie Graber (Fairfield); sophomore Nikki Merrill (Fairfield); junior Courtney Graham (Lakota East); and seniors Sara Moster (Northwest) and Sarah Mossman (Northwest).

Men’s tennis looking for first win

The MUH men’s tennis team fell to 0-3-1 with recent losses to Miami University-Middletown and Indiana University-East. The young Harriers have no seniors on the roster, but are led by juniors Patrick Amaro (Hamilton), Scott Bragg (Northwest) and Sean Clements (New Miami). Sophomore Michael Pandl (Fairfield) and Alex Randall, as well as freshman Chris Randall, round out the team.

Women’s tennis ties with MUM

The MUH women’s team is off to a 1-2-1 start, most recently tying with MUM last week. Seniors Kayla Webb (Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy) and Jessica Irvin (Clermont Northeastern) lead the team. The rest of the squad includes juniors Sara Chistenson (Finneytown), Judy Seebohm (Hamilton), Kendra McAdams (Harrison); sophomore Jennifer Ellison (Fairfield); and freshmen Katie Weidner (Roger Bacon) and Kari Ross (Eaton).
