• Freshman catcher/corner infielder Haley Grau (Ross) has played in 28 games for Capital, hitting .333 with a double and three RBIs.
The Crusaders are 12-26 overall and 4-12 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. They will close the season Saturday with a 1 p.m. home doubleheader against Mount Union.
Baseball: Sophomore outfielder Gavin Matthews (Badin) has played in 21 games for Coker (S.C.), which is 16-27-1 overall and 7-17 in the South Atlantic Conference heading into the SAC tournament.
Matthews is hitting .296 with three doubles, a triple, a home run, seven RBIs and two stolen bases for the Cobras, who will begin postseason play against fifth-seeded Wingate at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday in Kodak, Tenn.
• Senior infielder Joey Stenger (Cincinnati Christian) has played in 28 games and made 15 starts for Asbury (Ky.), hitting .316 with three doubles, one home run and 11 RBIs.
The Eagles will be at home against Ohio Christian on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Women's lacrosse: Freshman defender/midfielder Hannah Planck (Lakota West) has started every game for Anderson (Ind.), totaling two goals and three assists.
The Ravens (1-7) will travel to Thomas More on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
