Women's basketball: Wilberforce sophomore guard Alexandra Shealey (Middletown) shot 52.2 percent from 3-point range this season. That percentage ranks No. 1 at the NAIA Division II level.
Shealey averaged 12.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.2 steals per game for the Bulldogs (11-12). She started 16 games, shooting 41.4 percent from the field and 64.9 percent from the foul line.
• Cincinnati sophomore guard Sam Rodgers (Lakota East) hasn’t missed a free throw this season. She’s 18 of 18.
Rodgers is averaging 4.8 points, 2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in 23 starts for the Bearcats, who are 16-10 overall and 8-5 in the American Athletic Conference. She’s shooting 34.5 percent from 3-point range.

Men's indoor track & field: Ohio State junior Coty Cobb (Madison) was the pole vault champion in the Buckeye Tune-Up event in Columbus.
Cobb’s vault was a personal-best 5.42 meters (17 feet, 9.25 inches). He was just short of Cole Gorski’s school record (5.47 meters/17 feet, 11.25 inches).
The Buckeyes will compete at the Big Ten Championships on Friday and Saturday in Geneva.
Wrestling: Marian sophomore Anthony Jagel (Middletown) took fourth place at 133 pounds at the American Midwest Conference tournament in Belleville, Ill.
