The Cincinnati Bengals signed free agent offensive lineman Bobby Hart on Wednesday.

A fourth-year player from Florida State, Hart appeared in 33 games with 21 starts in three season with the New York Giants.

He played in 10 games with seven starts in 2017 before the Giants waived him the day before the season finale after he reportedly refused to try to practice that week after recovering from an ankle injury.

He also was involved in a locker-room fight in the preseason.

“Bobby is a young player with three years of NFL experience, and he has very good upside and tools,” Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said in a statement. “We are excited to add him to the team as we improve our offensive line. The offensive line is a focus area for us, and this is one of various steps we are taking to improve our performance.”
