The Cincinnati Bengals waived defensive tackle Christian Ringo on Tuesday to make room for cornerback Adam Jones prior to his roster exemption expiring at 4 p.m.
Jones was suspended for the first game of the season for his actions during and after his Jan. 3 arrest.
Ringo’s tenure in Cincinnati lasted just six days. The Bengals claimed him off waivers from Green Bay on Sept. 6.
