In its time, the Amber Rose Restaurant building has withstood the 1913 Flood and a fire in 1989 right before what is now the Amber Rose was set to open. Now it has survived a tornado. The Valley Street restaurant still show scars from the Memorial Day tornadoes, but it the owner says the business is ready to reopen Wednesday, June 12. Photo: Amelia Robinson
