Lawrence "Larry"

95, passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was born March 29, 1926, in Middletown, Ohio, the son of the late Lawrence and

Ella Jane (Chrisman) Reynolds.

Following his 1944 graduation from Middletown High School, Larry left for the service. Larry was sworn into the U.S. Army in Ft. Thomas, KY, on June 5, 1944. At Fort Benning, GA, Larry was assigned to the 71st

Infantry Division as an Army Medic. He was overseas for 18 months traveling to France, Germany, and Austria. In 1945 while in Austria, Larry helped liberate the concentration (starvation) camp, Gunskirchen. Following his release from the

Army, he enrolled at Miami University in 1948, Larry began working at Armco Steel. During his career there, he worked in Production, Drainage Order Department and Claims Sales

Division. Larry enjoyed family vacations, playing golf, spending time with his grandchildren, traveling with his wife and relatives, attending WWII reunions and programs at the War museum in Germantown. Larry was a life time member of First Baptist Church, a member of the American Legion Post 218, a member of the Masonic Jefferson Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rites.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Margaret Ann Mehl; and his son David.

He is survived by his three daughters, Cyndi (Greg) Kuhn, Terri (Tom) Henry, Tami (Donnie) Hughes; grandchildren: Brian (Erin) Kuhn; Kyle (Abbey) Kuhn, Scott (Amanda) Kuhn,

Michael Henry, Kadie Henry, Nicholas Henry, Tyler Henry,

Mallory (Issac) Roberts, Hunter Hughes; great-grandchildren: Jamey, Jacob, Maddie, Samantha, Rylie, Harper, Kellan, Blakely, Lincoln, Chandler and Londyn Kuhn; brother Keith (Pat) Reynolds, sister Carol (Don) Follsteadt; and eight nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00 am-12:00 pm on Friday, November 19, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 4500 Riverview Ave., Middletown, Ohio 45042. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: First Baptist Church, 4500 Riverview Ave., Middletown, OH 45042; The American Legion Post 218, 116 S.
