The NWS warned drivers should expect slippery roads which could affect the morning commute after snow continued to fall overnight.

A Winter Weather Advisory in effect through the night has ended, though the NWS said slipper conditions could continue all through this morning.

This morning, we are likely to see snow continue until just before dawn, after which snow chances will taper off throughout the day. It will be cloudy, windy and cold, with gusts as high as 31 mph and temperatures only reaching up around 32 degrees.

Wind chills will cause temperatures to feel like they are in the mid- to upper teens.

Overnight, the NWS expects the clouds to break, clearing out almost entirely by dawn on Wednesday. Winds will also calm somewhat, and temperatures will remain freezing with a low of around 23 degrees.

Wednesday will be warmer and less windy, with a high near 40 degrees under sunny skies.

Wind will almost entirely fall away after nightfall, although we will see clouds increase again. Overnight lows will drop down to around 22 degrees.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy but will again bring highs near 40 degrees. Temperatures on Thursday night won’t fall as far but will still be a cold 29 degrees.
