Why a new Jersey Mike’s sub shop location in Liberty Twp. is good news for charities

A fast-casual sub sandwich franchise is continuing its commitment to support local charities as a local franchisee opens a new Butler County location.

Located at 7338 Yankee Road in Liberty Twp., Jersey Mike’s Subs is circulating 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to CancerFree Kids.

Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

Jersey Mike’s Subs serves meats and cheeses sliced upon order with bread baked in-store and fresh condiments. The free sub fundraiser, which runs through Sunday, is the work of franchise owner Larry Rover, who also owns stores in Maineville and Symmes Twp., plus three in Lexington, Ky.

Rover quickly moved from managing one restaurant to 40 in the area, in addition to owning locations of his own.

Since 2010, Jersey Mike's locations nationwide have raised more than $34 million for local charities and have distributed more than 2 million in free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
