West Chester company hiring 900

About 300 employees will secure permanent positions in 2016 with TradeGlobal.

A Butler County-based company plans to add nearly 1,000 seasonal full-time jobs, a portion of which will result in permanent, full-time positions.

TradeGlobal, which specializes in online retail solutions, is hiring 900 temporary, part-time employees in West Chester Twp. this holiday season, according to CEO Dave Eckley. Of those hired, about 300 employees will secure permanent positions in 2016, he said.

The new jobs will be based at TradeGlobal’s three locations, a main operations center at 5389 East Provident Drive, as well as facilities at 9756 International Blvd. and 9271 Meridian Way.

Six hundred of the part-time seasonal jobs are warehouse positions and 200 are in a customer care center, Eckley said.

The company is also adding 100 seasonal positions at a new customer care facility opening next month in Beavercreek

Recent job growth at TradeGlobal has been dramatic, Eckley said.

“Five years ago we were adding 400 and we were keeping 100,” he said. “This year, we’re bringing in 900 total and somewhere between 300 and 350 of those will remain as permanent positions.”

TradeGlobal’s workforce expansion comes on the heels of TradeGlobal being acquired Oct. 14 by Singapore Post Limited, a publicly held Southeast Asian e-commerce solutions firm.

The company forecasts 35 percent revenue growth resulting in about 15 percent job growth, he said.

Formed in 2001 by Eckley and Executive Chairman Dave Cook, TradeGlobal provides e-commerce services to leading fashion, beauty and lifestyle retailers, including Avon, Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Cole Haan, Puma, The Limited, Shiseido, Tommy Hilfiger, Tory Burch and Versace.

Prior to the acquisition, TradeGlobal also had operations in Europe and Asia and 2,000 employees worldwide, Eckley said.

The company offers not only “the full e-commerce experience” but also the ability to manage a client’s in-store experience, Eckley said.

“Broadly said, no one really matches our breadth of services specifically to our industry leading technology,” he said.

TradeGlobal’s mission in the past five years is to grow internationally and offer its clients a one-stop solution.

The company’s acquisition and expansion will allow its clients the opportunity to grow globally across a single platform.

“Once you’re integrated with us, you’ll be able to go to 25 places in Asia and three places in the European Union,” Eckley said. “We pretty much cover the globe from India down to Australia and New Zealand, (plus) Europe and North America, of course.”

Its next venture will be into South America, he said.
