Water main break means early dismissal for some Lakota students

A water main break today on Princeton Road is impacting the water supply at Lakota Plains Junior School and Lakota’s Central Office.

Butler County crews are expected to shut off water supply at both buildings at 1 p.m. today, according to district officials.

For the safety and comfort of its students, Lakota will be sending Plains Junior students home at 1 p.m. via the same transportation method they use on any normal day.

Those with a child who will not have a safe place to go at this earlier dismissal time should notify Plains’ main office at 513-644-1130 as soon as possible so staffers can make special accommodations

Tonight’s regularly scheduled 7 p.m. Lakota school board meeting will be relocated from the Central Office in Liberty Twp. to Lakota West Freshman Campus, 5050 Tylersville Road, West Chester Twp.
