Clark was on his way home from the Outback steakhouse near the Fields-Ertel Road exit of I-71 in Mason, Doyle Burke, chief investigator for the county coroner, said Wednesday.
The crash blocked I-71 for several hours.
There were no other injuries reported, although the truck driver and a passenger were both treated by Turtlecreek Twp. Fire District.

Clark’s vehicle, unidentified in the crash report, was stuck in the median, Burke added.
“He had tried to cross the median. He had missed his exit,” Burke said, adding Clark’s cellphone was being checked to see if he was on it when he was hit.
Richardson swerved in trying to avoid hitting Clark near the Ohio 123 exchange on I-71 east of Lebanon, according to the crash report.
“It appears accidental to us,” said Burke. “He left work, no problems, no nothing.”
Burke was unsure why Clark was in the road at the time of the crash.
No charges have been filed.
The sheriff’s office declined to release further details on the case, until the investigation is complete.
“We want to make sure we’ve got the complete investigation finished and all the facts in hand before we release anything else,” Commander Steve Arrasmith said Wednesday.
Initial reports indicated Clark was from Middletown. The crash report listed a Lebanon residence.
Clark was remembered in a service at Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home in Lebanon.
On Wednesday, $3,838 of $10,000 goal had been collected in a GoFundMe campaign. A Logan Clark Family Account has been started at Fifth Third Bank.
“The Clark Family is coping with the loss of Logan Clark (Their 21 year old Son, Brother and Best Friend) who was taken unexpectedly from them,” according to statement on the GoFundMe page.
Some contributors recalled knowing Clark during school in Lebanon.
“The Clarks are a wonderfully close, kind family. So many of us want to help support them in this unimaginably tragic time and want to reach out to you.”
