Raided were: Wireless A, 938 Main St.; Pleasant Avenue Wireless & Smoke Shop, 2263 Pleasant Ave.; CK Wireless, 1595 S. Erie Highway; Bonkerz, 1413 Main St.; and EZ Wireless, 1035 High St; and Sycamore Market, 602 Sycamore St.
There were numerous indictments as a result of the raids and the undercover operation, according to Assistant Butler County Prosecutor Brad Burress.
Tariq Mosa Abuawad, 30, of Wittenburg Drive in Fairfield, a worker at the Sycamore Market, was indicted on two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs. Tareq Ahmed Saleem Odeh, 27, of Malvern Place in Cincinnati, who is also associated with the market, is facing 10 counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and one count of aggravated possession of drugs.
Erin Leona Wilson, 21, of East Sycamore Street in Oxford, a Miami University student from Amelia, who worked at Wireless A, was arrested in the raid for having a “baggie of green vegetation,” according to the Hamilton police report. Wilson was indicted by a grand jury on five counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, with two of those charges a higher offense with a forfeiture specification.
Osama Demaidi, also known as Sami Sosa, 31, of Cincinnati, who told the JournalNews he was the owner of Wireless A, was indicted on five counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, two with a forfeiture specification and three counts of permitting drug abuse.
Taylor K. Hatley, 18, of Legore Court, West Chester Twp., an employee of EZ Wireless, was indicted on six counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and one count of aggravated possession of drugs.
Honey Omar Ali, 22, also of Legore Court, West Chester Twp., also an employee of EZ Wireless, was indicted on nine counts aggravated trafficking in drugs, three counts with a forfeiture specification.
Ahmad Mahmoud Arafat Barakat, 33, of Cincinnati, was indicted on 11 counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, two with a forfeiture specification.
David Gabbard, 46, of Stalheber Road, Hamilton, was indicted on four counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, permitting drug abuse, aggravated trafficking in a controlled substance analog, possession of a controlled substance analog and two counts of aggravated possession of drugs
Aissar Mohammed Abuhannoudeh, 25, of Wittenburg Drive in Fairfield, was indicted on one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs.
Saad Al Shafei, 43, of Horning Drive, Fairfield, was indicted on three counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, two with forfeiture specifications.
According to court records, warrants were issued for those indicted. Court dates have not yet been set.
