According to a release, the restaurant said it would work with its local franchise partners to produce these meals, and that it was working on scaling this model to be used in other states.

The meals will include five different food choices, including salads, sandwiches, and veggie snack boxes, balanced per USDA guidelines. The partnership will begin April 6.

Panera Bread also said that it encouraged in-need non-profits or state governments to contact the company at schoolmeals@panerabread.com.
