• Campaign signs on residential property cannot be larger than 6 square feet.
• Campaign signs on business, industrial and institutional property cannot be larger than 32 square feet.
• Signs cannot be placed on vehicles and the vehicle parked on private property for the sole purpose of advertising.
• There is no limit to the number or the amount of time that political signs can be displayed on any property.
• Signs of any type are not permitted in the public right of way or on public property without the approval of the public works director. Such signs will be removed and held at the city garage for fourteen days before they are disposed.
• All signs must be maintained in good order and well anchored. When in doubt, the house side of the sidewalk, utility poles and light poles, fire hydrants or drainage ditches can be used as approximate indicators of the edge of the right of way.
