Smashburger closes 1 of 2 Butler County locations

Smashburger has closed its Bridgewater Falls Lifestyle Shopping Center location at 3397 Princeton Road, in Fairfield Twp.

The fast-casual burger restaurant opened in the shopping center in 2011, but closed July 30 when its lease expired, according to a store official with Smashburger’s other Butler County location at 7598 Cox Lane in West Chester Twp.

That West Chester Twp. restaurant remains open, as well as other locations in Blue Ash, Anderson Twp. and Dayton.

Smashburger opened its first location in 2007, offering burgers that are “made-to-order, never frozen, smashed and seared to perfection on our grill,” according to the company. It now has more than 370 locations in 37 states and five countries.
