Police were called to scene at 2:43 a.m. to find the stranger seated on the floor outside of the bedroom in the hallway of the house with multiple residents standing around him.
The officer was told the man got angry and acted in an aggressive manner when the water was thrown in him but the residents calmed him down, got him out of the room and called police.
He would not respond to the officer at first and was handcuffed. He was identified as 18 years old and a Miami student. He had the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and slurred speech. He was taken to a patrol car but had to be supported to keep from falling over.
Residents of the house requested no charges be filed on their behalf but the suspect was charged with offenses involving underage persons and disorderly conduct/public intoxication. He was released to a sober friend in the lobby of the police department.
