New doughnut shop coming to West Chester

Butler County, which has dozens of options for a sweet taste treat, is set to get another.

The Donut House, a family-owned-and-operated shop specializing in freshly made, hand-cut doughnuts, is scheduled to open in September at 8268 Princeton-Glendale Road in West Chester Twp. in the former Sushi Monk storefront.

Sushi Monk moved to a new, larger location in January.

Located on the corner of Ohio 747 and Smith Road, the store’s products will be made fresh in-house everyday — from cake-style to yeast-raised doughnuts with the option for customers to fill them as they order, according to the business.
