The pair had a reservation at the Fish Lake Campgrounds in
Six Rivers National Forest for Tuesday, but never arrived, KGO-TV reported.
Rodrigue sent her boyfriend in Canada a text message on Sunday, but by Monday, after he was unable to reach the pair, he filed a missing person report, according to the news station.
The Rodrigues may have been spotted at the Six Rivers campground Tuesday, according to several witnesses, who said they appeared happy, according to KSBW-TV.
Sheriff officials are asking for the public’s help in locating the pair and said they are actively following up on leads.
“So far, there has been no solid information that would lead us to them yet,” Sheriff’s Office officials said on Twitter.
