The suspect in Friday’s shooting incident on the Central Michigan University campus was arrested, police said early Saturday. The suspect, James Eric Davis, Jr., was seen and reported by an individual on a train passing through the north end of campus shortly after midnight. At a news conference Saturday morning, police said the gun allegedly used by Davis was registered to his father, who was a police officer.
