Mail truck stolen along with packages, other mail

Are porch pirates branching out and skipping packages sitting in front of homes in favor of taking the entire mail truck?

Police in Washington, D.C., said someone took a full truck that had been parked in the Northwest part of the city around 5:30 p.m. Monday, The Washington Post reported.

The truck had about 400 packages, $300 in cash. a pair of AirPods and a wallet inside, the Post reported.

Police are trying to find not only the truck itself but also the mail it contained, WTOP reported.
