Eagles fan wins season tickets after finding Golden Ticket in candy

In a story straight out of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles has had her dream come true thanks to a special package of Peanut Chews.

Heather Bergman opened the lucky pack of candy to find not only peanuts but a golden ticket good for 2019 season tickets to the Eagles, KYW reported.

She cashed in the golden ticket for a pair of supersized green ones, good for the next season. Bergman also got to meet Swoop, the Eagles' mascot and former Eagle Barrett Brooks during the awards ceremony held at the convenience store where she made the lucky purchase, KYW reported.

The campaign was launched last fall, but the winner was announced this week.
