Demi Lovato is the latest star selected to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl.

The singer and the NFL made the announcement Thursday morning.

Lovato will be joined on the stage by Christine Sun Kim, who will perform the song in sign language.

Lovato teased fans in June that she will be releasing a new album soon that will be "open and honest and possible," USA Today reported. She released her last album, "Tell Me You Love Me," in 2017.

Lovato is also performing at the 2020 Grammys airing on Jan. 26. It will be her first live performance since she overdosed and was hospitalized in July 2018, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira were named in September as the Super Bowl LIV halftime performers, USA Today reported.

Super Bowl LIV will be played on Feb. 2 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
