Corday Productions told the cast Thursday the show will be coming back, Entertainment Weekly reported.
The deal has not been finalized but is expected to be done soon, Variety reported.
The show has eight months' worth of episodes already done and the crew and actors will be on the break at the end of the month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Days of Our Lives" is one of only four daytime soap operas still on the air, according to THR.
