City Jail, Ebb Duhamel was transferred to the Warren
County Jail before 2 p.m., according to Maj. Scott Reeve.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office had placed a holder on
Duhamel on charges of aggravated menacing, inducing
panic, and violating a protection order stemming from a
standoff with deputies and the Tactical Response Team on
Mentz Road Wednesday night.
In addition, Duhamel is facing a domestic violence charge and two charges of violating a protection order from May.
He did not show up in Franklin Municipal Court to face those charges at the time. Court officials said Duhamel will probably be video arraigned on Tuesday.

After pleading guilty, Duhamel told Middletown Municipal Court Judge James Sherron that he “didn’t want to waste the court’s time.”
“I’m here. I’m here every day of the week,” Sherron told Duhamel. “It’s up to you.”
After receiving advice from his attorney, Jeff Milbauer, Duhamel said, “I just want to get this over.”
When Sherron reviewed Duhamel’s court history, he said that he had 78 cases in Middletown Municipal Court and he was 30 years old.
“That’s a career,” Sherron said.
“I’m a piece of ----,” Duhamel told the judge.
Devontia Ibsen, 20, pleaded guilty to misconduct at an emergency scene. His cousin is Duhamel.
“He understands that he acted badly,” said his attorney, James Smith. “He was upset. I told him emotional decisions are almost always wrong decisions.”
Friday was supposed to be Isben’s first day on the job at the Days Inn in Middletown.
Kyle Albin, 22, also pleaded guilty to misconduct at an emergency scene. He told Sherron that he cried all morning in the jail.
“I really don’t want to go back downstairs,” Albin said of the jail. Terri King represented Albin.
Robert Myers, 28, also pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to 30 days with 15 days suspended. His attorney is Jeremy Evans.
Ibsen and Albin were sentenced to 30 days, with 30 days suspended, and both were placed on one-year probation.

Three Middletown men were charged with disorderly conduct and misconduct at an emergency, which are misdemeanors, while law enforcement agencies attempted to bring Ebb Duhamel into custody on Thursday afternoon.
In a Facebook post Friday morning, Middletown police Maj. Scott Reeve said Officer Wayne Birch spotted Duhamel, on a porch in the 600 block of Baltimore Street.
Reeve said the Special Response Team was deployed and after forcing entry and Duhamel was located inside the residence. At that time he was safely brought out and taken to the Middletown City Jail.
During a search of the residence, several guns and ammunition was located, Reeve said.
During this incident, a large crowd gathered and some become unruly, eventually crossing the police crime scene tape and threatening officers. Three were arrested and additional charges may be added, he said.
Those arrested were Kyle Albin, of 510 Baltimore St., Robert Myers Jr. of 302 Moore St. and Devontia Ibsen of 6501 Germantown Road for disorderly conduct and misconduct at an emergency. Albin also had an outstanding warrant for failure to control.
“(Middletown Division of Police) will not tolerate anyone interfering in an investigation or an emergency situation as this one,” said Reeve. “The police line tape is up for a reason. Threatening to hurt or fight an officer by trying to incite the crowd will result in your arrest and prosecution. Our only goal is to get the suspect out safely while keeping our officers safe. There will be no warnings if you cannot control yourself at a scene of an emergency incident.”

A man arrested following a two-hour standoff with police Thursday on Baltimore Street has entered guilty pleas on multiple charges in Middletown Municipal Court.
Ebb Duhamel, 30, of Middletown, was charged with inducing panic, resisting arrest and obstruction of official business, all misdemeanors charges, according to court records.
Duhamel was sentenced to 180 days in jail for inducing panic, and 90 days each for the resisting arrest and obstruction of official business charges.

Duhamel was already wanted by Warren County Sheriff’s deputies after he eluded a Tactical Response Team following a standoff in Franklin Twp. on Wednesday night. He has several charges pending against him in Franklin Municipal Court, including aggravated menacing, inducing panic and violation of a protection order.
Sgt. Brian Hounshell of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office told this news outlet that his agency has placed a holder on him and after his case in Middletown is concluded, Duhamel will be transferred to Warren County to face those charges.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office issued a release on Thursday seeking public assistance in locating him and said that he was believed to be armed. The sheriff’s office also said he was believed to be in Middletown.
