Hamilton motorcycle crash: Police continue investigation, no citations issued

Police say they are continuing to investigate a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Tuesday afternoon that led the motorcycle rider to be transported by medical helicopter.

The motorcycle was headed south on Ohio 4 at Campbell when the car, which was on Campbell, was turning left onto Ohio 4, according to Officer Kristy Collins, a spokesperson for Hamilton Police Department.

No one has been cited yet for the crash, Collins said.

Fairgrove Avenue has reopened following the crash involving a motorcycle, according to Hamilton police.

 

INITIAL REPORT @ 1:03 p.m., Tuesday, May 7

A medical helicopter has been requested for a crash in Hamilton involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, according to emergency dispatch traffic.

Crews were dispatched at about 12:45 p.m. to the intersection of Fairgrove Avenue and Campbell Drive.

Fairgrove is closed from the Fairfield Twp. and Hamilton city limit to Fair Avenue in both directions because of the crash, police said.

The Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is on the scene investigating, which is including the use of a drone.
