The man said on Thursday night he went into the restroom at Bob Evans, 3260 Village Drive, took off his Taurus 9 mm gun and holster on his right hip. He exited his restroom and returned to his seat. He finished eating, paid and left the restaurant.
Then he realized he left his gun in the restroom. When he returned to the stall, his gun and holster were missing.
Police went to Bob Evans in an attempt to locate a possible suspect, but none of the surveillance cameras faced the restroom, according to the report.
