Demolition started today on a McDonald’s that stood for decades just west of Interstate 75’s Ohio 63 exit in Butler County.

The location at 101 Garver Road in Monroe opened in 1981. Its last day for food service was Sunday.
A completely new 4,900-square-foot version of the popular franchise should be rebuilt and reopened within three to four months, city officials told this news outlet.
