Woman injured, son arrested in Eaton stabbing

UPDATE @11:18 a.m.

A woman was stabbed and her son was arrested in a domestic violence incident Thursday morning in Eaton.

The woman was taken to a local hospital with injuries believed to be non-life threatening, according to Eaton Police Chief Steven Hurd. The suspect, Xavier Miller, was taken into custody a few blocks from the scene.

FIRST REPORT

A person was reportedly stabbed and another detained in Eaton Thursday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West High Street just before 8:30 a.m.

There are injuries, according to a 911 dispatcher, but the severity of injuries are not available at this time.

A man has been taken into custody, according to dispatch scanner traffic.
