Payroll Project: See how much Warren County’s highest paid employees earn

Warren County spent more than $66.2 million to pay its employees in 2018, new data recently added to the Dayton Daily News Payroll Project shows.

Warren County paid 510 employees more than $50,000 last year, according to the Payroll Project. One employee was paid more than $200,000 and 38 earned more than $100,000.

Local governments make payroll with your tax money, which is why the Dayton Daily News has assembled and made available a searchable database of pay for public employees who made $50,000 or more last year.

Five highest paid Warren County employees

1. Scott Swope, general health: $219,091

2. James Lawyer, administration-mental health: $138,062

3. David Fornshell, prosecutor: $133,941

4. Megan Manuel, department of developmental disabilities: $132,140

5. Russell Uptegrove, coroner, $127,563
