A Beavercreek woman will have some extra holiday spending cash after the Ohio Lottery announced she won the $1 million prize playing a scratch off game.
Karen Hamilton won the $50,000 for 20 years prize, which is the equivalent of $1 million over the duration of the payments, the lottery announced Tuesday.

However, Hamilton chose the cash option and after mandatory federal and state taxes will receive a lump sum of $355,000.
Hamilton bought a $5 Million Cash Showcase ticket from the Kettering Shell on County Line Road.
