Lebanon man, 60, dies in 2-vehicle head-on crash in Warren County

A 60-year-old Lebanon man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a head-on crash on state Route 350.

Dexter L. Atkins was driving a red 2006 Cadillac Deville west on state Route 350 around 1:25 p.m. about a half-mile east of state Route 123 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected and went left of center and into the path of a white 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by 68-year-old James L. Trammel of Oregonia, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lebanon Post.

Atkins was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Trammel was taken by ambulance to West Chester Hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening, troopers said.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Turtlecreek Twp. Fire/EMS and Warren County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
