Committee votes to send Kavanaugh nomination to full Senate

The Senate Judiciary Committee has voted 11 to 10 to send Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination to the full Senate.

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 11 to 8 to approve a vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh at 1:30 p.m.

The vote rejected a motion by Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Connecticut, to subpoena Mark Judge, who was present during Kavanugh’s alleged sexual assault on Christine Blasey Ford, to testify before the committee.

The Senate Judiciary Committee is expected to vote this morning on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination. Thursday, Kavanugh and Christine Blasey Ford, who says the judge sexually assaulted her in the early 1980s, testified in front of the committee.
