Trevor Fraley, 24, of Madison Twp. will appear in Middletown Municipal Court on Wednesday facing two charges tied to child pornography. But before the case is over, the sheriff said it could turn into hundreds of charges.

“What people have nightmares about or what you think that is the most cruelest thing you have ever seen is what we have seen on video involving children as young as 8 months old ... 2 years old,” Jones said during a Tuesday press conference.

Those images were found on Fraley’s computer.

Deputies arrested Fraley at a Crawford Street home last week on unrelated charges. Next to where Fraley was laying was a bag, and inside it was an HP computer that led to the forensic investigation of its files, Jones said.

The child porn was found as part of that search.

“We’ve seen photographs of molestation of young, young children. We have not hundreds, but it appears, thousands,” Jones said.

It’s too early in the investigation to say whether the victims are from the area.

On Tuesday night, no one came to the door from the apartment where Fraley was taken into custody.

But others on Crawford Street said they were appalled by the allegations.

“Just shocking because I have three little girls and I had no idea any of that was going on,” Samantha Douglas of Middletown said.

With so many more images and videos to go through ...

“There will be more charges,” Jones said. “There could feasibly be a hundred charges I don’t know. We’ve never had anything like this ever.”
